Thank you Rough Cut. This 4 string does have good volume acoustically for a plywood box with paper on it and is chimey with acoustic strings. The delay and reverb from the amp probably help too. Hope your friend recovered and is back in action, and I would never tempt fate with that particular song during a pandemic :)

R.E.M. had a lot of great songs, and this is one of them, very well played as usual Derek!, and Michael Stipe's vocals suits your smooth style of singing really well  :-)

Reminds me of a related - and hilarious - story: Got a buddy who started going live on FB doing his favorite tunes during lockdown - then he tried "It's The End Of The World As We Know It". Where he got the courage I'll never know. Made it to the second set of verse and... Spectacular crash n burn :-D

Nice n chimey! Had to look close to see if there were 6 strings and an 'R' tailpiece :-)
