Hi Dave not realy a effect ! just a 9 volts battery powered mini amp ! but whit the knob on Max it allmost sounds like a tube screemer!  any thing battery operated is low fi for some , i allway 's seen it as the" way to go ! cheap but do e  ble ,and if recorded right better then a big bucks setup !!
