Thank you gentlemen, I really did little but restring her and cleaned her up. The neck had a good tight set. I fussed mostly with it's case. Cracks, loose lining, hinges, cleaning, reclining the three pockets. The old violin had a real gut string on it that worked. Just a knot to hold it in the tail. I had to file out bigger slots for the new expensive strings. George got the strings off ebay. They are Dominant Austrian strings. The old pegs worked ok though they are not a set. Two originals and two newer cheap painted pegs, but they work fine. I like fixing the oldies.

Thanks guys. I love working on the old ones. George is my computer guru. He keeps me up and running. He taught me how to do videos on Nation. His grandfather played this Steiner. I'm glad it plays once again!
