Another cover song from the workshop on a Sunday morning. I woke up with this song in my head and decided to cover it. I translated it from 6 to 3 string and it holds together pretty well. In retrospect, I wish I would've practiced it a bit longer because I probably would've done it in a higher register. Oh well.

Thanks Jim, Derek and Myron. Mr Simon is a heck of a songwriter. That's for sure. Thanks for the compliment Jim, but I'm definite over 30.

Beautiful stuff--you have excellent musical taste and you look under 30. Must be some cool old folks raising you or something...?

Texas has such great new musicians popping up all the time.(Like You!)

Any local musicians you enjoy that you can turn us on to? What is your local scene like?

Great job K.  Your lower register is fine.   I  just finished  my tenor uke and this is a good song for ukeles due to the many chord changes.  Thanks for sharing!
