Rattles in my LPG- Robert Johnson's Sweet Home Chicago.
Okay, I think it sounds pretty good in open C. A lot of us say we have to find the strings and tuning the guitar wants. Maybe Open C is what it wants. But I can't sing many songs in C and I had intended this LPG to be primarily a DGBE (Chicago tuned) tenor guitar.
CBN and FB friends tell me to try putting window stripping felt or self sticking foam tape where the plate touches the guitar. I bought some of the tape stuff and intend to do that.
I cut out the wood top under much of the plate in hopes of getting more volume and that metallic reso ring.
Iowa plates rule the roost, but they may rattle.
