Russell,

 

Because you seemed to be having trouble uploading an mp3 file of this song, I took the liberty of ripping it from the vid, cleaning it up a tad in Audacity (buffering skips on my PC, coupla places where the beat seemed off, etc.), and downloading it to a folder offsite where I am keeping all the submissions. Would you like me to upload the result to the TVZ thread, so you and others can hear it?

Another great CBG interpretation of Townes.  Good stuff Russell and nice rhythm as others have said.

TVZ songs and CBG's go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Russell!  That song has a bite! 

Linda and I are recently minted fans of Townes Van Zandt.  We just listened.  Great job getting that syncopated strum and sound down.  Nice vocals too, man.  A good addition to the Townes down load collection.
