I don't know if the ones I got have an adhesive side on them.  I just hot-glued the thing into the guitar I tested it on and it sounded good.  Guess I should check the others, sometime. =)

Thanks, Andries.  Yes, Micro cube on the Brittish Combo settting.  No effects.  Gain and volume at about 33%.

Hey, Daniel.  There was a guy at some K.C. CBG fests who sang into the guitar soundhole, using it and the piezo like a microphone.   Yes, I built a bunch of geese like that years back out of barn wood.  I still have two.

Thank you, Pick.  I know you to be a bit of a hot mag pup guy.

That might work, Danny G.  Good luck.  I have made some with  a speaker to pick up the sound.

Hey, Denbo.  Good idea on that pre-amp. Thank you, sir.

Sounds good to me UJ  & I like the guitar a lot. I use pre-wired piezos from Treadstone (Rob McClane) here in the UK, they're nicely soldered. I've made a standalone pre-amp using a cheap Chinese unit (Like Shane Speal's) to put my piezo equiped guitars through which works brilliantly.

hi John. you the man ! very nice. sounds like the piezo is actually picking up the sound from your voice. not a bad thing, just been experimenting myself and could hear my voice through the speaker, very strange. in my humble opinion, it's just how close the amp  is to your guitar. if too close, the piezo picks up the vibes from the speaker. just my two cents. regardless of my rambling, you made it work! works great for percussion as well.

That works like a charm there UJ ! not bad at all, that modern prewired stuff is state of the art thesedays ! you sounded swell !

Yep!, not bad for a Piezo, I think your talented playing does enhance the often much-maligned poor old Piezo Disc Pup, sounds good through the Amp, is it the Micro-Cube??  :-)

Thanks, Keith and Dave.  Keith, I think I will do that.   Dave, I hope that works well for you.

Just mounted the tuners

This build is coming along nicely. The tuners are mounted (yeah, I realize they're upside down)
