George I use my toungue to block notes and bend them or my lips pushed in to limit flow

its probably not the official way but it just about works for me.

If you watch his cup hands this changes sound too.

but you can't cup hands whilst this playing a cbg...

Now I need a sax sound any ideas? Metal Kazoo?

Thanks Buggy - I saw that link and was already all over that ZEN slap-yo-face 30+ year distillation of how to play down-and-dirty blues harp in C method that is shown (when he's not smacking the camera around) in that intro video . . .so . . . I'mma working on it - based on that link, and am already putting in some of the da's/draw and ta's/blow on the noise I'm kinda-sorta making with this harp, which doesn't sound that bad at all for only a few minutes worth of effort so far . . . ;-)

Man, Buggy - you nailed it . . . you were right on with that A harp playing, and I loved that harp sound in the solo portion of your song.  I've got a C harp sitting here on my desk begging me to learn how to play it over the winter (I know - I need to take my own advice and just begin doing it!) . . . I've started recently doing more black and white stills in my music-videos, but I need to focus on doing more of my videos styled like yours above!!!  You are an inspiration to all of us aspiring singers and music-video makers!!!  Great work, my friend . . . :-)

Thanks Keith, I was almost happy with this one, but i'm trying hard, I like the A harp it's a bit deeper which cuts through, you should hear this harp through a distorted amp it's yummy! coming soon ! :>)

BIG SIX SET – color your blue notes

• Six BIG SIX harmonicas with twelve Stainless Steel reeds each in the keys G, A, Bb, C, D, F

• Comb made of solid plastic-polymer in six optional colours: black, lava, sky,
oliv, yello and white.

I use the "C" mostly 0, 5, 7 blues open 4 sting tuning , then the "A" was for 9,2,4 blues and they dont seem to have the notes you dont need lol
(i.e fairly idiot proof) a Bug hack but they are not cheap

Definatley the best harps I have found unless you can play, unlike me! The tounge does the work of bending the notes and say some "ta ta dah dah" in your breath as you play.. found the 10 min Harp lesson from an old Bemuzic old post worth watching..
