Thanks for the info Daniel.  So you use the guitar e as the uke a; b as the e; G as the G an the D as the C?

Will King,  I now buy metal strings 12 at a time.  But before I would get a set of "extra light" electric guitar strings and just use the 4 thinnest strings.

Nice build and great sound.  I have wanted to build a uke with a mag pickup, but don't know what string to use.  What size steel strings do you use?
