There were 2 long wood benches behind the lifeguard platforms at our public swimming pool and when we got in trouble (usually for splashing the pretty young lifeguards with water with a well placed spike off the high dive) we were "benched" for a period of time. The music being piped thru the loud speakers was often interrupted by a whistle and my name being yelled to take my place on the bench. I wore a butt shaped groove in that wood by the time I was 14.

I remember hearing this song at the swimming pool as a kid, they used to pipe the local a.m. radio station in poolside. Great memories! Good on the song Eric, playing and singing top notch!

Thanks Jason.  I have found it difficult to pick up the building tools since completing this one.  Lots of fun to play and always an eye-catcher when I take it out.

I just did a draft recording of "I Wanna Be Sedated" in a similar style.  One more and I should be ready to post up.

I am really liking this clawhammer type thing I have going on right now.  The sorta speaking sorta singing thing is working well too, I think.
