Just come on back home, Girl ( where you know you belong . . .)

Background: This newest Blues song is an improvisational offshoot created from the first two verses of my first original Blues Song, that I had composed/written/recorded a couple of weeks ago, so I guess it's my Blues song # 1 1/2.

The simple and easy to play chord progression used throughout the entire song is:

|: G | Am | D - C | G :|

This song was authored and performed by me in a similar style to that which Beth Hart uses when singing her famous blues song: I'd rather go Blind.

Thanks Derek - there's nothing PRO about it though . . .  this is literally the fleshing-out of an ad-hoc 5 minute improv session (where I sang into the mike until I ran out of verse phrases to sing) I did to demonstrate a point to Richard Sundberg (he can confirm this fact).  I'm pondering what I'm going to do (Blue's-wise) to top this one . . . not too far back - you and I were both called "crooners" in the comments made in that other song I wrote/played called: My Ruby in the Moonlight, so I'm trying my best to live up to that expectation/standard . . . :-)

Good pro sounding tune. Nice all around.

Thanks Buggy! . . .  I'm like you - and I do this for my own personal enjoyment (it's fun!) . . . and also do these kinds of things to set an empowering example for my grandchildren to set their minds to doing something - and not quit until they have accomplished it . . .  I'm working toward adding a "good enough" harp playing skillset to my future abilities so I can do a more complete job in crafting and playing songs like these . . .  :-)

Thanks for your feedback Mike and Will . . .now the pressure is on to see if I can "ad-hoc" another improv session and have it show potential to come out as well as this one did! . . . :-)

Thanks Richard! . . . who would have known that the adhoc improv I did to send over your way to illustrate a point about lyrics and instrumental terrain - would quickly evolve into a decent blues song . . . it puts that first Blues song I composed and recorded to shame!

That's a great song and a great performer.

Excellent!  Thank you for sharing your song.

Thank goodness for lousy rainy weather, I think it was a couple of those days that you you create this wonderful song. You have an ear for quality and talent to write and perform at a high level. Awesome goodness George, great video!

Thanks Keith . . . :-)  My roots and upbringing are firmly planted in Country music, and I've always liked the style that Willie Nelson uses when he sings his songs.
