I'm guessing the warmth of the guitar comes from no soundhole and 14's. I'm just really happy with the sound of this instrument. I will add that the lid on this particular box is a full quarter inch thick (which is 6.3mm, yes?) Anyway, it is a very thick top so I went with the 14's to give it a bit more string energy.  The absence of a soundhole was not  a plan, but I got everything together and noticed I had skipped that step.  It sounded good unplugged and I saw no reason to do anything extra.

Ah yes, the Murphy's Law git. I have had a few of those myself Charlotte.

I felt like naming this guitar "Murphy's Law" because something went wrong with every step that would justify doing that step over. Instead I made a repair of each of my mishaps and in the end it is my best and worst.  I think it is the best sounding cbg I have made and the most cosmetically flawed.

The guitar is plugged into a Roland CM-30.  The strings are 14's which I think helps the sound, but the action is pretty low so it is playable.  When she switches back to her baritone ukulele she can really tell the difference.

Very nice! Great job on both the building and preformance. I enjoyed :-)
