Blew the dust off my Ovation 6 string and had some fun playing an old song I wrote.

Thank you Nancy! My goal was to play the salad bar at the Golden Nugget in  Winnemucca, Nevada! But the Fat Cat Blues Bar is way cooler. I have one commitment, but 2019 and 2020 are wide open. Great comments and photo as always!

The only sliding this guitar is doing is off my lap. I’ve played it so many years I don’t even think about adjusting it a dozen times a song ha! Seems a lot of guys here have a Ovation somewhere in their collection. Thank you very much Derek for your nice compliments!

Nice slow blues Richard. Super on the vocals and playing. Nice to hear the Ovation. I have the super shallow bowl which doesn't slide off the lap like the old bigger bowl backs.

Thank you Danny!  Quite a few Ovation guitars around the nation. The rounded back makes it tough to play on your lap for sure, best to use a guitar strap to hold it in place. Electric or acoustic, they’re great!

loved it Richard nice original tune, I have an Ovation Celebrity that was given to me by my brother in law, I really like playing it except for the rounded back. Ovations have amazing sound quality and I like the built in tuner on mine.

Good point! Tiny on uke stayed up in the head longer! Big Ovation thanks Jim!

In retrospect, I did once have a guitar instructor who played jazz on his Ovation and it was good. Mine wasn't.

Real nice Richard. My old Ovation 6 string is very dusty and shall remain so. Boy George gave you the blues? Not as bad as the blues Tiny Tim on uke gave me I'll warrant.

A serving of six strings, although playing these crazy little boxes for a couple of years now, I’m basically playing the four top strings. Ever since I saw Mark Almond play an Ovation at a Poco concert back in the seventies, I had to have one. A very versatile guitar, I can amp this guitar up to the max plugged in also! Thanks Clarky!
