 AGP, Some day I’ll try a fretted neck for a bass but for now I’ve got no markers but I’m just sticking to the simplest bass notes down on the neck by the nut. I want to mark one so I can venture up the neck with some guide. For me it’s the next step. Maybe I’ll even try a 3 string but I’m working my way slowly. I’m a very slow learner. I’ve been playing for 60 + years and only got this far. :D)

Dave Lynas I have put side markers on the Neck, was tempted to Fret it, but resisted the urge, it will be purely a Bass for me, Bowing the Cello is way out of my league :-D

Hey AGP. I think you’ll like the bass build. I’ve got a great box for my next bass. I’m going to mark my fretless neck. I have a nice Padauk finger board too. Should look good in stripes.

Woodie had quite the life. So many tragedies. My best song writing came at tragic times. When sleep would not come easy. I like your repertoire better n the spell checker version Unc. I found two other woody docyus yesterday. Good history lessons.

PS; Currently have a Dave Lynas 2 string Cheroots Big Box Cello Bass "Typish!" build on the bench, will post a, build in progress update later today or tomorrow :-)

Thanks Poorness. I did better on this one. Trying to keep it simple. Two part works better than 3 for now. Just guitar and drum with the vocals. Bass free this time.
