Golden Slumbers / Wonder of the Night

Combined this Beatles tune with an original of mine as part of a song challenge from a friend,, to spread positivity on social media, and have some fun. My nylon string doesn't get enough play time.

Taking off where the Beatles left off! Great song mingling Derek!  Love the White album, been meaning to get the new remix version. You may have saved social media for a while, this was awesome buddy! I forgot how nice nylon strings sound. I think lately you’ve been nailing those higher vocal tones, what’s your secret? Thanks Buggy for the information, that’s interesting! Also explains why prostitutes would rather strum. Every orchestra should have one prostitute.....ahhhh guitar player.

Loving the vocals, Derek.  Nice picking and song too.  Good story line in the lyrics.  Very good, man.

Neat...sound great.

I like old 50's warped neck nylons guitars throwaways, as they play really great with five string and a slide and then swapping out to maybe three or two steels too..(its why the rolling stones went to five strings for slide so much easier)  There are some dark parlour one from romania that are built like tanks that sound kind cool too and can be easily modified. I have rather to many broken guitars...as they all sound different.. many have cross brace strut under the sound board but if you can find one with v struts it will allway sound better. Suzuki used to make one and yamaha old steel strings were v strut too and sound great. In the 60-70's they went straight across under the sound board and then they dont sound quite as good in my opinion. Phosphor bronze strings help lots too. Iideas From Bugs guitar grave yard :>)

Originally "Parlour guitars" were given to the prostitutes to get them off the street and give them a different talent top earn from, and the guitar nearly died as it was seen as a dirty common instrument, which may be why it isn't in many orchestras arrangements.

Nice singing too..
