Golden Slumbers / Wonder of the Night

Combined this Beatles tune with an original of mine as part of a song challenge from a friend,, to spread positivity on social media, and have some fun. My nylon string doesn't get enough play time.

Thanks for the very kind comments Danny! Good to see you adding the harp to your mix of music making. They make for nice accompaniment to guitar and cbg music.

Richard, thanks so much, very generous positive comments! I gave up cigars so maybe that helped with the high notes LOL! I love nylon strings. This is a Fender classical with a 1 3/4" wide neck which I like a lot. Currently strung with LaBella Folksinger black nylon since I read that Willie uses those on Trigger. I still can't play like Willie though ha! Thanks again Buddy :)

Thanks John. This is one of my favorite Beatles tunes and one of my choruses had lyrics that seemed to maybe fit. :)

Thank you Buggy. I love old and junky/salvageable guitars too. I have a couple old Chris Adjustomatic guitars which have detachable and screw adjustable neck angles from back in the mail order catalog days. Bothe needed work when I got them. I still have my first guitar my folks got for me (40 years ago). It was a Montgomery Ward made in Japan 3/4 size nylon string catalog guitar.

Thanks for the history too. Good back story on parlors and guitars!

Here is a my 1 cent ebay Chris guitar and my first guitar (on right). Cheers!
