Yup, that reaction was defiantly worth the time and effort of building it. I really hope he installs the mag pickup though. I must have open and closed that box two dozen times trying to get a decent piezo sound. Started with one disk, re-positioned it several times, then tried two disks, re-positioned them several times, tore them out, put in a rod between neck and body under the bridge, not enough string pressure, added a shim, volume was ok but all treble, added a capacitor to the jack... gave up. lol  I'd have installed the mag to begin with but the rules of the exchange didn't allow it so I included a pickup he can install himself that matches the other hardware on the old rust bucket.  :D
