Davie Bowie - Labyrinth - As The World Falls Down - acoustic cigar box guitar cover

Alright I know I'm not the best singer, and as you should know by now, my voice is not the point of my channel - it's about the music you can make with such little resources.

This is a song from one of my favorite childhood movies, The Labyrinth, which was written and recorded by David Bowie, who also starred in the film.

It's a beautiful song, and I've performed it on my super-primitive three string slide cigar box guitar. It's just a 1x2" stick, three eye bolts, and a cigar box.

Comment by Crow on February 3, 2013 at 4:12am: silent jim - im not sure what you mean about the grapes and jungle drums, but i don't take any offense to your comment. i've been singing and playing a long time but even i hear my own weaknesses. it takes a bit of bravery to keep posting my stuff because i know i'm not the -best- but i really enjoy what i do and i'm hoping at some point that others will start pushing the instrument and thier abilities like i have. i would love to have some actual lessons some time, it seems that every skill i pick up is on my own, i have to figure out my own way to do everything, and a lot of times it means i don't become as strong in that skill as i would like, but i keep on working with what i have, so to speak.
