ets, It wouldn't be hard to pan that way since this guitar has two sound boxes - one at each end. But in this case, it's an illusion. The left and right are exactly the same recording with the left delayed a fraction of a second. Probably the back notes on the right are being obscured by the front note on the left.

BTW, there's a pic of the CBG diddley this is played on at about 0:46 in the video.

This is really intriquing stuff, Doc. I enjoyed it a lot. Some of my favorite from the Oakroot catalog, already. It's got kind of a 'Netherworld Blues' thing goin' on. Keep it up, brother.
