cheers guys, just to clarify for our good friends across the pond this is not an original but was the first UK number one for British band Slade in the early 70's. It is our arrangement though

I very much like how the chord progression doesn't go quite the way you first think it's going to. Little surprises like that really make a song for me. Nice to see somebody breaking free of the tyranny of I-V-VIm-iV and I-IV-V7. Marc Bolan and Ray Davies based their careers on doing that sort of thing - so you're in good company.
