wait till you hear Bomb Release. sort of like having a motorcycle battery falling on your head. we never "covered" a song. imagine julia child singing with heavy drums, a telecaster, and the same keyboard chords held down for three minutes running though an old tape looper. at least you get a recipe with more detail than necessary.

I'm very relieved to hear that Richard......it reminds me of a gig I did back in the early 80's when I playing lead with my old rock band RAIZA.....after we'd set up and were enjoying a relaxing game of marbles and eating muesli in the dressing room, a dissident faction within the audience actually mined the stage......eek. Let me tell you, that first number was a trifle fraught.....and I've never been so scared stepping on my fuzz pedal.....the only way we made it outa' there in one piece was by playing Freebird 47 times.....I know this is nothing compared to the legendary exploits of Bomb Release and their tactical readiness for situations like this, but it certainly got my attention......every time I hear that song all I can see is our agent laughing at our faces when he told us he'd got us the re-book.....One can only hope the Callifest punters will be less belligerent......

PS That's me on the right, kicking the invisible football.....(ha!)

pick, i have some empty ellio's pizza boxes for prizes's, and a whole bunch of pistachios shells. too bad they don't make the red ones anymore, at least down here. this town is older than dirt, at least the delaware river is near by.
