Uncle’s idea of open mic was brilliant, producing a lot of great performances. Thanks so much Jim for your excellent outstanding performances, open mic and main stage!

I loved this Fest. It came at just the right time as Winter gripped the Nation (not you, Bones and AGP, but us mid western northern types. I didn’t hardly leave my chair (as I took it along in my pickup) the week before the Fest and through that weekend. I truely enjoyed the lot, for an old guy, I didn’t have to travel crept in my daft mind. Thanks again for making this recap of the hygincks and silliness. It beats political discussion.

Excellent posts Richard, and I thoroughly endorse everything you said about Dave Lynas's and Uncle John's (and everybody's) wonderful contributions....well said!! Unc and Dave represent so much of what is great about The Nation, and I am very appreciative of the warmth and fellowship they have afforded me since I came aboard, as I am for all of the members who have 'liked' and commented on my fledgling cbg efforts......and I know I am not alone in saying that.....and that I won't be the last. Simply put, Dave and Unc are National Treasures, as we all know, and long may we all continue to enjoy all they contribute to making this place so special. Thanks guys. I certainly hope to make more of a contribution to next years fest, that's for sure, and 'George' and the space brothers have promised something special too.......(eeekkk!!)

Uncle, at least you don’t have to worry about freezing all the ugly fish you won winning the ugly fish contest. Throw em in the snow! That is cold! I’ll bet your frigid! Derek captured CBGs, blues, roots, rock, and ocean music all in one song, perfect! Thanks for all you do as the father of CALLYFEST, your comments, humor, imagination, and oh yes, your music was great and well received by the record crowds. You behaved as a gentleman, as you promised! An example for some of us next year, especially me! Sorry about that incident at the goat rope contest, clearly a misunderstanding. How was I supposed to know what to rope and not rope! No goats were physically harmed during the contest.  Psychologically .........time will tell....
