Thanks Unc, I always appreciate your comments. I've made a few that weren't too good myself. Now I use a 13" scale instead of standard mando 13 7/8. I started that because I already had some uke fretboards done and used one for a mando. The slightly shorter scale makes for a bit less tension on the strings and I think a mellower tone.

I am back again, Jim.  Great song and that mando IS outstanding.  Playing and the mando itself.   I have made several mandos, but I am always dissapointed in the ones I've made.

I am with Ruth and the dancing frogs.   Just about 5 quarts of wonderful in a 4 quart container.

Thanks Ruth. This was written by guitarist Norman Blake relatively recently but has an old time/Irish feel to it especially when the pennywhistle comes in.
