You are welcome Richard! Thanks for prompting me to get involved. We love to play all kinds of music and I hope have inspired others to play more songs on their CBGs, LPG’s, ...

There is an alternative to a forklift for the songbook, the iPad! My songbook never gets heavier and it’s never too dark in a room to see my music (all bets are off though, if we go out into the sun!).

Great encore song Doug! A blast having you guys hare in beautiful Monterey. Most of you behaved very well, I’ll deal with the city fines and cleanup ha! No, you’ve added a new dimension to the festival, ZoomNation. A new way of collaboration and fun. And your ever growing songbook my need a forklift next time to carry it in. I really appreciate the positive feedback BrianQ and AGP! I’m glad you enjoyed our songs. As for CallyFest next year, we will have to wait and see!

My main goal in starting the Slingers was to provide an opportunity for those who have always want to play the guitar to be able to play their favorite songs together with others without it taking years to master all the chord shapes to pull it off. What I didn’t realize was how many new songs I would end up learning and how fun it was going to be. Our main songbook of 1-finger songs is at 275 songs, but I will be adding more. The pool of great songs is deep!!!

We appreciate it James! Never really played Beatles songs on my 6-string; too hard! Open tuned 2 and 3 string CBG’s changed all that.
