The pickup is made of mahogany, machine screws and nuts and wrapped with wire from a wall-wart,  the smaller wire, all of it, in the transformer. I just wire it straight to the jack. They are low-z, and not real loud, but they are loud enough for my wife and I here at home.

Thanks for the kindness Dave, Andries, Uncle John! Poor boy, long way from home. Got the lights shut off. Kidding. 'bout the lights, that is. I tried to put some images with it, but couldn't get it to work. This is very new to me. I'll try more, but this post making is really wonky. Is this normal?
