well your not on your own when it comes to shite playing - i'm not to good either ... more of a builder than player  lol !  - yes mate i make 3 string guitars infact i'm just making two of the Plank Style three string guitars

well i'm a joiner by trade but theres no work around so now i build guitars :)

yep me and anthony are on the look out some gigs in sheffield or round abouts if you fancy heading out with us some time i'll give you a shout - went to check out Catfish Keith last November over at Maltby it was a wicked gig - if you ever get chance go and see him

looks like you made a fine job of your first two builds keep up the good work - i started building CBG's in 2008 - built around 20 so far and about 120 pickups - just on with two of the Plank guitars now ...keeps me active lol!

oh thanks  glad you like my guitars - yes mate there all my work but sadly they all have new homes exccept the tricone resonator but thats for sale so i guess that will be out the door soon !

I've used both 650 and 604 scale lengths.I usedthe 604 on a Gran Corona box like yours in the photo ..this gave 23 frets when the fingerboard continued over the box front to a conventional sound hole ..thought the proportions looked right.
