I have been building slide, 3-string, electric, Box guitars and studying CBG Blues music for 2 years. The flexibility of the box instruments continually impresses me.

Hey Uncle Fred, Sorry I am so late getting back to you.  It would be cool to get together some time to compare notes and jam.  I only know of one other in the Charlotte area (and have only seen him on Facebook).  At any rate, see you around and good luck on your builds.

Thanks for friending. I agree with you about placement. I'm behind on this stuff since most of my builds have been acoustic instruments. I'm slowly catching up!

Hi, thanks for the friend add, the neck was just a random bit of wood I had. Just measured it and it's 2.4cm X 3.4cm. The scale length is 30"

 Good luck with yours!
