ILL GREEN replied to Timothy Hunter's discussion Truss rod placement ?
"I pretty much do it like Paul and Taff but I stuff a 1/4" or 1/2" round steel rod in there. I believe for bass, you would need to install 2 of the rectangular steel rods on each side of the neck, with the truss rod in the middle."

"Most 3 string guitars at 25.5" scale or less won't need a trussrod, but it depends on whether the scale length is long(27" or more), if it's a guitar or bass and what the strength of the wood your using is. If the neck is Pine or…"

The frets are made from a Champion branded…
