How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?
researching cigar box guitars on the web
How many instruments have you built so far?
No cigar box guitars, but a stomp box and some other simple homemade instruments
What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here, your membership may be rejected).
I'm a long-time guitar player, but not especially good. I'm interested in slide ... and after messing with a traditional lap steel it occurred to me that 1, 2, or 3 strings would make things a LOT easier to handle for a butterfingers like me. Also, I just love that diddly-bow sound.

I wanted to do a non-kit build for the first time (and wanted to go fairly primitive), so I mostly just grabbed stuff I had lying around.

The body is a small (about 8x5) cigar box I picked up for 50 cents at a yard sale, painted green, and decoupaged a poker hand onto.
