- No cigar box guitars, but a stomp box and some other simple homemade instruments

- I'm a long-time guitar player, but not especially good. I'm interested in slide ... and after messing with a traditional lap steel it occurred to me that 1, 2, or 3 strings would make things a LOT easier to handle for a butterfingers like me. Also, I just love that diddly-bow sound.

I wanted to do a non-kit build for the first time (and wanted to go fairly primitive), so I mostly just grabbed stuff I had lying around.
The body is a small (about 8x5) cigar box I picked up for 50 cents at a yard sale, painted green, and decoupaged a poker hand onto.
