What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here, your membership may be rejected).
Building something that makes music out of found objects. I am also interested in the history of cigar Box banjos and guitars and other instruments of that ilk. I am a performer who likes Music from the 19th century to the 19 fifties, jug bands, minstrel shows, folk music, vaudeville, early jazz & ragtime. I used to play tenor banjo and I want to make a CB tenor banjo.
I also sell musical instruments, mostly folk and Celtic, in my store Celtic cultures imporium that calm. I am always on the look out for other types of instruments that I can add to my inventory. Passing along CBG information could inspire folks to make music because the are inexpensive and easy to play.
