CBG Tabs

So you built your CBG and now you need something to play on it, right? Well, if you're not completely musically inclined or can't read traditional music, tabs are your answer. If you're like me, you read tabs and sometimes make them. Paste'em here.

"I'll certainly let you know how it turns out.. but I wouldn't be too sure who'll finish first! It's been quite the lazy year for me as far as CBG's go. Cheers!"

"It is a bonus, you have a bigger chamber, a bigger chance to be louder, as others have said, sometimes the volume and sound defies logic, but , bigger is a better chance than smaller."

"No reasons not to.  CBGs can be odd ducks for tone.  I have had fiber board boxes sound good and thin wood boxes sound not so good.  They are like Forrest Gump's box of candy.  You don't know what you get until you bite…"

Beginner Question- different box

My sister in law used to make purses out of cigar boxes. She gave me a box(s) where she had glued identical boxes back to back. They are nice boxes and I was thinking about opening up part of the joined bottoms and making a double deep CBG. Any reason why I shouldn’t? I would guess that the sound might be a little amplified by the increased volume.

MS CBG No. 1. First build.

Well after talking about it for a year, I finally jumped in and completed my first build based on Shane Speal’s Poor Man’s Guitar instructions. Made a few mistakes but I guess they give it character. I’m surprised at how loud and good it sounds! Build 2 in planning!
