"If I laser cut, I think the burnt edge will actually enhance the product and I may not have to paint which will save a lot on cost. At most, I can spray a clear sealer on the ply wood. Thanks for the suggestions."

I have played six string for many years, though not very well. CBGs opened up a whole new aspect of playing. The building satisfies my need to make something and to be creative. I strive for a high level of craftsmanship in my work. The best thing about building a CBG is that moment when you hear it for the first time; its' magic.
