Seen my first Diddly bow, then looked on pinterest.
How many instruments have you built so far?
Finished three CBG's before I seen this site, when I was doing a U-Bass, I later joined the Men's Shed and taught others how to make them. Only got one real cigar box but not started on it yet, done quite a few biscuit tin guitars, Diddly bow's ukulele's, now on my 25th.
What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here, your membership may be rejected).
The great sound and the price to make one, first one was done with old plywood, strings and machine heads of a very cheap charity guitar, bolt's, and a spoon, action is very high and 6mm plywood is a bit thick for a good sound board, but it is all great for learning, now I tend to use 3mm ply from the diy stores.
