Thank's for your comment, Shelley!

Is great to receive any kind of feedback, even when it seems to be a little challenger!

ASAP, I'll be posting some updates on my project and also the status of the progress of it's building process.

Nice to meet you, and I liked too much your works, based on what I read on Your Profile and Blog.

Oh thanks, I pulled that pan out of a box of my mom's kitchenware from the 50's. i think it's an old aluminum pot rest. it has "Griswold" stamped on it. One of a kind, and her sauce pot top rests underneath for the resonator cone. I'm into recycling as well. The neck is hand carved from a cedar chest I found in the dumpster. I look forward to more builds from you, and your lovely singing.

Thanks you for the compliment. That guitar with the oval soundhole I call the "Hobo's Freind" It is a full parlour scale guitar with a bigger box, silver spoons for a handy carrying handle, yes, the record is my standard pickguard now. I will be putting in a truss rod into the future models, I guess with 6 steel strings it needs the extra help.
Most of the songs on my page here are recorded with that guitar. A couple were recorded with the little Padron Ukelele. I think you would enjoy the Lil' Hobo Uke.
Want more? I also have some material at www.myspcae.com/zbblue
And thank you the your kind response...I love your video!
Cheers! And Here's To You!

Shelley, thanks for the reply and the website for the bobbins. I assume that you tapered them yourself for a friction fit? I'll look into them more closely because they give a unique air to your UKE and I really like that. Keep those videos coming on Youtube I really get a kick out of them. Al

Hey Shelly!

Yeah 'Dust My Broom' would be a good one to do...I wasn't sure how much of a cliche it would be though? The broom-bow doesn't compare to the beautiful craftmanship of your uke there though, and there's a beautiful person and song to go with it!

Have a lovely day!

Hi Shelly
Lovely to hear from you! What a fab instrument you have created, really sweet. =)
I have been planning on building a CBG for a while but have been busy with music and photography stuff.
I am building a bouzouki at the moment and will post photos soon as i can.
I def need to build something cigarbox related tho! I just seem to be stuck on building the neck, did you make yours from plans?
Ukulele Festival of Great Britain sounds great and would def like to come if gigs allow.
I hope you will be playing your uke?
Great voice you have also, really enjoyed the video.
Do you have a myspace or facebook?
Hope to meet up soon
Ani xx
