Hi Joe, a pleasure my friend.  I like the look of your "Liona", not without mentioning your other designs... some really neat machine heads and intricately cut body soundholes too. Regards, Bob.

I like that scarf jig! I just trust my bandsaw and cut. Belt sander finishes the fit.

Hey Joe! Nice to meet you, the Montreal Guitar Show was actually cancelled a few years ago. A sad thing, actually...

Hey Joe!

Glad to have a new friend....any fellow Canadian CBG Building is a friend of mine!

I like your work also....I have the same pickup in your CBG#3...but in black. I noticed since it was a 6 string you used it in a 3 string CBG. I didn't think that would sound right. I've wanted to use it as I got it from Gitty , the pre assembled version. I'm wanting to build a 4 string electric out of a butcher block and was wondering if i could use the 6 string pickup for a 4 string setup. How does it align? so many questions lol

any advice amigo?

Thanks Joe C. The grained wood is birch of a special Scandinavian kind, we call it masur-bjoerk. I have quite a lot of it because I make knifehandles (and knives) too.I really appreciate your comment. AND I have studied some of your builds and they are  very nice and inspiring. (Excuse my "Norwegian" English, I  am sure you understand what I mean anyway)

Hi Joe,

Thanks for inviting me a a friend.

Yes, metric is probably more accurate but certainly more understandable for me. 1/16th, 3/32th's.... Not my cup of tea (although here in Belgium most people still prefer coffee).

I hope I'll get my first one ready very soon so that I can start learning.
