Yeah, I have been busy but I've only shown about ten percent of it on here. Mostly I'm doing everything but cigar boxes. They're just too damn small to give any acoustic volume....which seems to be what I'm after these days! Been on a guitar buying rampage lately. A 1965 all mahogany Harmony, '69 Hagstrom, '60s Kay six string and an old Harmony Rocket. Building my own boxes, hammering some resonators and learning how to bend wood. Planning on building bigger acoustic bodies in a cool new shape I designed too. This full time employment sure gets in the way!
How are you feeling these days? Are you back at the house building yet?
Damn boy! I just visited your page to see if you've been doing anything lately and I see that big scar picture!!!! Holy shit! Are you OK now? Looks like a pretty serious surgery. Cindy, my wife is in charge of the OR at the hospital where we both work.
Sure hope you are doing fine.....thinking about you and sending positive vibes your way man!!!
Yo Mike! I ordered some bass tuners this morning. Will send you two, plus some other goodies once the tuners arrive here.
Started building my first hard case today. Made it big enough to hold two CBGs plus necessary gear...amp, slides, harmonicas, etc. Hope it's not too heavy when it's all loaded. Also made a couple stubby copper pipe slides today that look like they're gonna work real nice.
Dude, the only two bass tuners I've ever owned I got from UJ and just used them in the Behemoth. I'll scour the shop and send you a selection of treasures for Christmas though! Can't wait!!
Hi Mike! Merry Christmas and all that stuff! I came to see if you had any new stuff on your page and noticed your offer to Kevins discussion. Hey, you can send one of your pup to me too!!!!!!!!!!
I recorded my first song this morning. It's an old Hank Williams song. If you have time how about checking it out............
Just finished building a baritone tonight I'll take some shots of it and load up too.
Catch ya later dude. Say hi to the wife for me!

Nope, never touched it today. Drove about thirty-five miles to talk to the owner of Spruce Hill Guitars to see if he's looking for any help. Then traveled on down the road and went out for lunch with my special lady. Got home at 3:30, changed clothes, went out and climbed on the tractor.....just finished mowing about fifteen minutes ago, had a bite to eat, plopped down in the old recliner to check what my Okey friend has been up to!

I hope you get better, too, Mike! Sending prayers your way.
Yo Mike! I put my comment in on the contest entry thread but it got placed at the end, separated from your entry. I think I'll try again.
Yup, turned out OK. Gonna load up some picks right now.
Well if ya already got your bass tuners, then I'll just have to go with misc. shop treasures!
Happy Merry and a Christmas New Year to you and yours too!

Hey! I just heard about fires by Ok city. I sure hope your place isn't in the path. Let me know so I can quit worrying.
Mike, you are right! I need more gits.
Your hand wound pups tempt me, but so far, I am a 'hide the electric stuff and make them look old guy."
