Hi Gary, I'm not sure if you have built an amp, so the first I use LM386 chips. Build a Smokey amp first schematics are on google. then a little gen and then a Ruby. The Little gem is a smokey with a gain control and a Ruby has a gain and volume. I'm not the guy to learn from I don't use transistors just watch the heat if they run hot somethings wrong.

as  for your friend  i give  her kootos  ;-)  i  actually had hair down to my  butt , and shaved it off  for breast cancer fundraiser ..   made $1,578 ,  and donated   the hair to locks of love   , for children with cancer needing wigs .

so  shes cool  in  my book .. and  i  love the guit  ;-)
