St; Louis cigar box guitar club will have a Thanksgiving giving. A swap & trade and maybe lunch afterward for the members at Hwy61roadhouse, our host. Also, a Christmas build contest 1st 2nd & 3rd place. These meeting are open and free, hosted by Hwy61roadhouse each 3rd Saturday each month.

Ben and Shane have been working on other things, like the new kits. Also Shane has been down for getting covid, and is just now feeling better. Also Ben and his wife were taking turns, with their son, when he had to do school work online. Go to the site, and then send them a message asking about it.

Metal builds are awesome and somewhat heavy. Gary Herget built one for this years festival in St. Louis and it was a monster 30-40 lbs.

Or maybe lack of ideas, those build-offs have been going since the Yahoo group? (yeah, it’s been 20yrs?) I would imagine how hard it is to do a different theme each time? I think there was a “weirdest instrument” contest after the Banjo build-off, for some reason it seemed to have slipped my mind even though it was earlier this year - old age :) but we never know, there may be something in the works? The Metal contest was my favorite, that Re-bar guitar was awesome!!!

Last one was the Banjo build off last October? I think what’s been going on has steered our attentions elsewhere?
