Can anyone tell me a “good” way to remove the Surgeon General label off a cigar box?

Can’t hardly believe how well that worked. Thanks guys. I’m papering one wall in my shop with all the labels just as a reminder to avoid low birth weight.
Try olive oil to remove the sticky residue. Alternatively, the print off a cigar tax label form the internet and stick it over the offending label.
thanks guys, I'll give it a shot.
Definitely with a hair dryer. And for removing the sticky residue these erasers with a red and a blue side work really well...
exactly, I have success with electric hair dryer than adhesive remover for any sticky residue.
Getting a paper label off a paper covered box is tricky. Definitely don't use oil based solvents or wd-40. Try a heat gun or a clothes iron to soften the glue and carefully pull it off. If there's glue residue left you can try taking it off with rubbing alcohol and a sponge but test it on a hidden part of the box to make sure it won't make the ink of the box paper run.
