Help - Still trying to figure out the notes and read music - open D tuning

I am still trying to figure out the notes on an open D, 4 string in relation to reading music scores.

Does the first D string note fall below the position shown on my chart?

Where is middle C on an open tuned 4 string CBG on the chart below?

So where do the high notes occur on a music score then or are the duplicates ?

If this was chromatic this would be sequential but as it's open tuning its surely not?

I'm not quite getting the translation to music score notes can anyone clarify?

OK, we are just a little out of synch, but getting closer.  Just working on the note C, move your tenth fret D string and 3rd fret A string to the left one octave.  The C that is one line below the staff.

All those lines. . .

Low D string 10th fret is the same note as A string 3rd fret.  Same octave, same frequency, just a different location on the fretboard.  Your orange lines should point to the same note, not different notes.

so what happens to the high strings? where do they show in a score?

Still off, I think.  I think you are one octave too high on your music staff compared with your fretboard.

Middle C is:

low D string 10th fret

A string 3rd Fret

The second C on the music staff reading from left to right.

Still cant get it to work? is that because some strings are duplicates rather than chromatic ?

Assuming you are using EADG strings from a six pack, your higher D string (between A and F#) is one step above middle C. Middle C would be the 3rd fret on your A string.  My memory on this is weak, but using it anyway, in conjunction with your graphics, it appears you have labeled the left hand graphic one octave too high compared with your guitar fretboard.
