"Thank you! Still learning this is only my first acoustic build in long while. I hoping I got enough bracing under the top. Going with tail piece, custom floating bridge and steel strings with about 25 Lbs of pull each of the four strings."

"Thank you! The end pieces are leftover cuts from other guitar necks and finger boards and they were real handy. That is why I took the pictures so we can all see it before I covered it up."

"oh well, you know better than I. i guess with an acoustic the top needs to become part of the body. at least you can still see that work through the sound holes, and you have great photos. the inside is a work of art. can't wait to see the next…"

"How about "rare earth magnets"? Some of the small cube magnets will "stick" to both sides of my hand, top and bottom. Some are drilled and countersunk."

"Sparky, that is just plain awesome ! I'm envious. But how could you glue the top on, and hide all that beautiful work inside?"

Hi there sparky ,or is it The JOKER ! thanks for the kind comments ,if you plan on doing one like that ,the trick is to take as thick a plexiglass you can get 5mm or more, i had to do a lot of filing down of the frets, so the string don´t clatter to much while playing, the more thickness on the P Glass the deeper your frets can go for variation on the play, my dean stick was olso twisted so it was even more work, just so you know ! thanks again and good luck on your undertaking.

It looks like "Uncle Lou" doesn't currently have plans to play anywhere before 15Nov2015. He does bow hunt, so I thinks what is taking up his free time. I'll keep ya informed.   Preston

So did you use a piezo rod combined with the pre-amp in your Lacewood 6 string? I've been contemplating that idea for a build too.
