About Whiskey Bob Taylor

I've been playing traditional pre-WWII blues and ragtime guitar in and around Chicago for about 20 years now. On Father's Day a few years ago, my son and I built our first CBGs at our kitchen table as a way of teaching him some hands on blues history (the wife was pissed!). Turns out I was the one who got schooled. Now I've built about 20 of them and a washtub bass. I actually play my CBGs more than my '33 National Duolian nowadays. CBGs have reignited my passion for slide guitar.
