How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?
Bought a CBG off ebay and wanted to conect with other players as I love it!

Playing a CBG with a strat neck but only using 4 strings (D,G,D,G) through a Pringles Tube speaker i've jacked up to be an amp, just started playing CBG but been playing guitar in bands for years.

Ey up Stu, good to see you found us :o)

Lots going on here (though sadly youve just missed Boxstock), and lots planned for the forthcoming year - keep an eye on the Home Grown Music Collective site too!

Need anything? Give me a holler

It's great to hear that you are getting out there and playing. I played (and still do) in bands, groups and musical ensembles of many types and styles, but I decided to play solo with the cigar box stuff and have played in many places. I now also use an acoustic foot drum and a headless tambourine equipped hi hat. I love it. As a slide player, all of the rules can be thrown out and you can really enjoy yourself whilst  entertaining.

Keep an eye on the events section for gigs and stuff. I realize that it's mainly American, but it is worth checking it out now and again.

Hi Stu.

Thanks for the friend message. I see you have joined the "London" group. I was just going to suggest that. Where are you based? I think this is a great site with some really supportive people on it. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment and information here.

All the best.
