"Yea, you’re right, the older ones are harder, thicker. Newer ones are a bit warpy, but I see lots of builders using them without a hitch, Del Puckett has used the Lowe’s yardstick on quite a few of his builds?"

yard sticks for fret boards

  I purposely prefer to find old thick & wide yard sticks that measure 1-1/2" or just a bit over.  Check out my LPG's  they work great with 3 or 4 string set ups.See More

thanks for askin raymond. i have used boards from computer speakers that i have found at garage sales, they work ok. the best thing i have found is using the guts from a danelectro honey tone amp, i like the way they sound in a little cigarbox.. hope to see another cool build from you.
