At 1:59am on March 6, 2010, Joe Suckley said…: Yes it is ,it is just about the hardest wood and heaviest wood known to man and it is really beautiful , it only grows in the desert southwest and northern mexico below the elevation of 2500' and can live as long as 1500 years so most of the wood I cut is between 600-1000 years old and has been dead for hundreds of years it hardly rots and will lay on this dry desert for a long time. contact me at shadetree_1@hotmail.com and I'll get you some pictures.
