"Whatever tuning it'll hold!  No, I'm happiest playing slide in G, which is a bit easier on questionable necks. That 5th in the root on a 6-banger in G is annoying sometimes. Think Keif and his Tele.  But standard is working OK,…"

"For what it's worth, my first build. Been wanting to do this for years and have a pile of boxes intended for said use. Then I found this one at the local smoke shop and, well, yeah, pretty much gotta use it!"

"Well, I have a Champ X2, which also takes 6V6 tubes.  I only got three 6V6s out of that mass of new old stock tubes. One is an old metal tube, which is less than optimal. One is used and not running at 100%.  The remaining one is an RCA…"

"Also wondering why Gary's question seems lost in the mist.  Thanks, Mark Bliss, for the heads-up.  As for Gary Mullens' question, I'd chime in with Paul Craig, a C-note seems pretty steep unless it's NOS from Europe or…"

I like odd stuff. Am an odd guy. Love woodworking but pretty much suck at it, and these don't have to be perfect. Been playing slide for over 40 years and want to make functional, funky rigs for these cold Maine nights. And i have 120 board feet of walnut to play with!!
