"Thanks CapnRon!  One more question.  What length dowel and what size string do you use for the base string.  Also, I notice the neck is quite a bit longer than I use for my standard G tuned guitars.  So what do you tune yours…"

Great sound, easy to play, fun to build and teach others to build, winding my own Flatpup style pickups.

Some of the artists who have them change to G. What ever you prefer. I haven't made one in a while. I don't have mine right now. I have just retired and moved to Mexico and my stuff is in transit. Mine is also the first one that i built. It's the shorter version.

A real good friend taught me how to make the guitars. I made them and can tune them and scratch out a little noise. I can't a song at all. Yet! I just retired and will be learning to play. Be sure to send me a pic when you finish your guitar.
