How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?

A little bit about me.....

I have been playing guitar for nearly 40 years now, not terribly well, and mainly on my 30 year old Lowden acoustic and various Gibsons (my present one is a LP from 1995).

Every now and then you need a change, and I switched from folk and classic rock to playing delta blues with open D and G tunings with a bit of slide as I was getting bored. Then I discovered the whole CBG world on the net and was  amazed at its vitality, enthusiasm and creativity.I am also a history buff, so that aspect of CBGs is very appealing to me.

So I joined CB Nation, and got a custom made CBG from Shane Wagstaff of Rock Hill Guitars. It's going down well in Phuket!

BTW - the racey-looking woman in the photo is actually my Thai wife who works as a nurse, not in a bar! My UK home  base is Penzance in the People's Free Republic of Cornwall.
