Hey all...been a while. I took the summer off from CBN and building to focus on the farm. I started this guitar last spring, and finished this week. It features two Sleeptalker pickups made by CBN member Dan Sleep...much thanks Dan. Each pickup reads 1.99K ohms on the meter, adn each has its own volume pot with a shared tone pot.The body is spruce, with a zebra wood top and walnut back. The pickup brackets are walnut & rosewood, the bridge is a modified rosewood acoustic guitar bridge, the control plate on back is walnut. Neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Scale is 19.5" with 21 frets...neck is bolt on with threaded brass inserts & machine screws rather than the traditional wood screws seen on electric guitar necks. Jack plate is walnut.Control cavity is fully shielded for zero hum.
