Thanks Wes! Yeah, I figure 5 watts was plenty for the old 10" Jensen speaker. Sounds really nice.
Thanks John! I'm not sure I should take "drug" money though :-/ lol
That run you're doing is a good one for sure, pretty drive and Decatur has a little Flea/Junk store right by the gas station. Used to be called "Jumps", new guy bought it a few years ago and keeps odd hours now so it's hit and miss when he's open. Hell, he might of closed as I haven't stopped for months.
They used to have a really cool market/auction every first weekend of each month north of Decatur called "Nebraska's Scenic View Flea Market and HillBilly Auction", way back up in the hills overlooking the river. It was a HOOT let me tell you, didn't know Nebraska had that many Hillbilly's but by God we do. Great people and some really good bargains to be had. Not sure if they still do it or not but I'll check, maybe we can make a day of it sometime this summer.
I bet I could offer you a good price and you would have a hard time giving it up.
River looks nice. I should tell you about the new drug run I do most weeks. I leave the valley of the Nishnabotna and cross the Boyer, Soldier, Maple, Little Sioux and Missouri ~ rivers and valleys and exchange empty oxygen tanks for full ones. What a nice drive unless the weather is awful. Right into and out of the Loess Hills.
Gees, Pat. About $50. bucks for that run that I might do for 20.
Harlan to Decatur. Bonus. An Indian town and cheap, good popcorn.
PS: Oxygen IS a drug. (At least in its condensed and purified form.)
